Ylivetokavennuksessa nostetaan yksi silmukka neulomatta, neulotaan yksi ja vedetään nostettu silmukka neulotun yli. Kavennuksen voi tehdä myös neulomalla kaksi silmukkaa takareunoistaan oikein yhteen, jolloin lopputulos on samannäköinen :o)

Jotenkin kummallisesti minä ymmärsin tuota ohjetta hyvin pikaisella vilkaisulla niin, että varren ekat 12 kerrosta joka toinen kerros neulotaan nurin. Mutta senhän voi jättää pois, ei haittaa, päinvastoin, on kauniimpi!
